The article defines the place, characterizes the importance of equipment upgrading in the enterprise operational management system. It has underlined the special importance of this method for updating within a high level of physical wear and obsolescence of the enterprise machinery. It overviews series of theoretical and methodological approaches in the study of scientific problems which have justified their own vision of their solution in terms of the crisis of the modern economy. The algorithm of the organization process modernization has been developed, using the method of network planning and management on the example of printing equipment. The study prospects of an organizational and economic component of the modernization process of industrial companies have been revealed.
