This article describes the problems and opportunities for the development of an enterprise in the publishing and printing industry using the concept of sustainable development. It examines the current state of affairs in the direction of sustainable development at the global, state, industry, and enterprise levels. Today’s issues related to sustainable development are becoming more relevant in the world. The problems of economic development of the countries of the world, the issue of minimizing the impact on the environment, social problems are important both at the level of global development and at the level of public administration. Ukraine also experiences difficulties related to the fulfilment of the global goals of the UN and support of the concept of sustainable development. This is primarily related to the factor of military aggression, which led to the emergence of a difficult economic situation in the country, problems with environmental pollution and social tension associated with the migration of internally displaced persons fleeing the war. However, even under such circumstances, it will be important to adhere to the principles of sustainable development and try to achieve the set goals.
