Realization of an author in the network: modern innovation possibilities

The methods of functioning and promotion of a contemporary author in the Internet have been analyzed. The concept of “network author” has been determined, its attributes and capabilities have been described. The reasons for passing of authors to the network have been outlined. The network self publishing as a modern and most common way to sell the works in the Internet without involving of a classical publisher has been accented. The most popular platforms for self publishing have been discussed. The role of blogs, social networks and personal websites to promote the creativity of authors and their immediate communication with readers has been evaluated.
