The expediency of operating conditions analysis and evaluation of the results as the basis for making organizational and management decisions in the publishing and printing business has been grounded. A number of problems that occur in modern publishing and printing business has been revealed and characterized. A number of indicators of their dynamics for five years of publishing and printing business conditions in Lviv region has been calculated and analyzed. It has been proved that an objective evaluation can be provided only by an analysis of indicators’ system of purely departmental content combined with the indicators of district or higher level management of publishing and printing companies. Further research of the problem is predicted.
