Methodical approaches of assessment of the enterprise investment security

The article presents the study of the essence of the concept of the enterprise investment security and reveals different approaches to its interpretation. Scientists define the concept of the enterprise investment security as a secure investment process; the state of the efficient use of resources and market opportunities; the security status of the enterprise (of the object of investment, the investor and their stakeholders); the degree of alignment of the long-term economic interests of the enterprise with the influence of the external environment; as well as identified with investment security of investment projects.

The factors based on the external and internal influence on the investment security of the enterprise have been distinguished, which facilitates their search and analysis, and also allows the enterprise to minimize risks and increase the efficiency of its activity.

It has been revealed that there is no single methodological approach to the assessment of the level of the enterprise investment security. Methodical approaches of assessment of the enterprise investment security have been analyzed, which made it possible to organize them into such components: an indicative approach; with the use of indicators of assessment of investment efficiency; the determination of the state of the enterprise investment security based on clustering of objects; a complex approach. An indicative methodical approach is the most common. The following assessment methods are deve­loped based on it using indicators (reference values) of the investment component of the enterprise economic security; using a system of indicators and determining an integral index to the assessment of the enterprise investment security level. A complex approach to the assessment of the enterprise investment security provides the following methods: based on the allocation of groups of threats of internal and external nature in terms of functional components; the assessment of investment security of the enterprise by analyzing investment project security threats.

The shortcomings of the methodological tools of assessing the enterprise investment security have been identified and the reasons that reduce its effectiveness have been stated. The directions for improvement of the assessment of investment security of the enterprise have been suggested.
