A brief analysis of the comprehensive approach to assessing the quality of large-format products is conducted and the most effective of them, namely the systematic approach, is chosen. The information of leading scientists and practitioners who are engaged in the research of jet printing technology, as well as manufacturers of equipment for jet printing is provided. The chosen method of printing is becoming more and more widely used in connection with the expansion of possibilities and use of digital technologies. in operational printing salons The quality of printed layouts satisfies the number of orders and the production of the order in a short time. Objects of technical control of any enterprise are listed. According to the selected objects of research, namely: banner fabric, self-adhesive film and paper, the dependences of the difference in the diameter of the dot on the print at different resolutions of the output device are constructed. As output devices, wide-format plotters of jet technology are chosen. It is proven that the printing quality is affected by all indicators, from the parameters of the output printer to the choice of material, its properties. The quality of the hard copy or printout refers to the print quality of the output printer. There are many factors that determine the level of quality, but in general it has to do with the accuracy of the reproduction of the source material, which is affected by the quality and type of paper, of course, the printer specifications (DPI), the print capabilities of the inkjet head and the type, quality of the ink/toner. The planned research is carried out in the conditions of an operating printing company, which actually specializes in the production of the selected products. To approximate real conditions, printing will be performed on the material used in the production process. This will make it possible to identify problem areas regarding the quality of large-format printing at enterprises.
