Theoretical-methodical approaches to management of business activity of the enterprise

The article deals with theoretical and methodological approaches and the necessity of creating a systematic approach to managing the business activity of an enterprise in the modern conditions of management has been substantiated. The model of management of the enterprise business activity has been developed, which allows taking into account the specifics of its functioning and is based on the comprehensive study, generalization and evaluation of the business activity in the main directions of the enterprise. Improving the process of managing the business activity of the operating enterprise based on the development of the model of management of the industrial enterprises business activity involves the formation of a toolkit of the business activity management and improving the methodology for assessing the actual level of the business activity of the industrial enterprise. At the same time, the suggested model of management of the enterprise business activity allows taking into account the specifics of its functioning and is based on a comprehensive study, generalization and evaluation of the business activity in the main areas of the enterprise. The suggested methodological recommendations for improving the management of the business activity are universal and can be used both at different time levels of management, as well as in managing various aspects of economic activity of the enterprise. Using this model of the business activity management allows a comprehensive evaluation of the efficiency of the management system of the business activity both by types of activities, and by individual production objects at the stages of planning, accounting, analysis and control.

The management of the business activity combines all the elements of the toolkit at operational, tactical and strategic levels. The strategic level includes the definition of the goals and objectives of the enterprise activity, the definition of ways and methods of management, the development of a system of indicators for the comprehensive assessment of the business activity. At the tactical level, the retrospective assessment of the business activity management, the organization of analysis of meaningful indicators of the business activity and the determination of the influence of internal and external factors on the level of the business activity is carried out. The operational level combines the assessments of the resource availability, the plan implementation, and the resource efficiency. Therefore, the management of the business activity allows us to develop such an enterprise management policy that will help identify all the strengths and weaknesses in the enterprise activity, and on this basis to achieve the maximum efficiency.
