The paper is devoted to the complex analysis of the «pun» concept in printed media texts in the light of metalogic expression of infotaining influenceness phenomenon, which favours the improving the influence of journalistic text efficiency upon the audience. The definition of elocutional means intensification has been proposed; the nature of their functioning in the journalistic text in the context of metacommunicative phenomenon has been examined; the classification of figurative effective practice depending on the implementation of journalist’s goals and on the methods of the recipient’ attention activation, has been worked out.
The use of contextual analysis, elements of component analysis, techniques of intertextual comparison and conceptual analysis, linguistic modeling has contributed the disarticulation and system characterization of media text imaginative means.
