Peculiarities of refined solution of a beam stress state with a longitudinal crack

The problem of bending of a transversely-isotropic beam with limited longi­tudinal crack has been solved using the variational method of Lagrange due to the refined model. The results have been compared with the experimental data. The analysis of the influence of crack on the stress-strain state of the beam and influence of the applied kinematic model for accuracy of conjugation conditions in the section on the edge of the crack has been done.
