The newspaper «Robitnyk» (1897) as a firstborn of the social democratic press in Ukraine

The article focuses on the origins of the Social Democratic press in Ukraine. The interconnection between the priorities of the social democratic movement of the metropolis (Austromarxism) and the concepts of the Galician socially oriented theoreticians, set out on pages of the first Ukrainian social democratic publication has been reviewed on the base of the media content of the newspaper «Robitnyk» (1897).
