The article is devoted to the visual components of the magazine, which determine its uniqueness, style features and place in a state media space. As an integrated system of the magazine, visual style has various types of communication with the audience (themes, genres, graphics, accents, images). Three-level visual management can be used for creating a visual style of magazine as a planning steps. Reading functionality is the basic points of forming visual style because accordance of the content and design to the needs of special audience can increase its rating, make it possible to take its own niche in magazines marketing.
