This paper presents an information technology framework for the development of an algorithm for embedding digital watermarks into a digital environment with the aim of protecting copyright in electronic publications. Solving this problem enables the analysis of parameters within the digital information environment that allow the integration of invisible watermark markers, imperceptible to the human eye. This approach to addressing copyright protection issues in electronic publications and creative works facilitates the detection of copyright identifiers and illegal distribution through monitoring systems, as well as the development of countermeasures against unauthorized dissemination of protected digital content.

To address the issue of embedding digital watermarks for the purpose of authorizing electronic publications, an information technology solution is proposed in the form of a functional algorithmic model. This model enables the selection of fragments in the digital environment suitable for embedding graphical elements, allowing for control of environmental parameters and the insertion of imperceptible digital watermarks.

To embed a digital watermark into a digital information environment subject to copyright protection, it is first necessary to identify the key parameters that characterize this environment. The set of detected parameters subsequently enables the development of a strategy for watermark embedding, as well as methods for its extraction to identify the authorship of the publication. This approach addresses the core challenge of protecting copyright for electronic intellectual products, which can later be utilized by other systems to detect the distribution of illegal content across digital networks or electronic publishing markets.

The information technology described in this paper, applicable to both digital graphic environments and musical works, demonstrates the feasibility of using digital watermarking as a tool for authorship identification and protection against unauthorized distribution of electronic publications.
