Motivation of work in the heritage of M. Tuhan-Baranovskyi, its modern development and practical application

The article represents the analysis of M. Tuhan-Baranovskyi’s contribution into the disclosure of the essence of motivation of work and its role in improving of work productivity. The development of his theory in the second part of the XX century by such scholars as A. Maslow, L. Bef etc. has been demonstrated. The essence of the great management principle (GMP) was considered. The influence of M. Tuhan-Baranovskyi and his followers’ theory of motivation upon the efficiency of printing companies has been revealed.
